Cornel is a dark cherry-red dahlia that looks beautiful in the garden and in cut flower bouquets, blending well with green foliage, pale yellow, and light orange flowers. Similar to its cousin, Cornel Bronze, Cornel has long, strong stems, is a prolific bloomer, and forms perfectly symmetrical petals. Cornel is not a strong tuber producer.

All fall-harvested dahlia tubers are stored safely over winter by Lantzville Flowers and then shipped in late April / Early May. Tubers are also available for pick-up at the Lantzville Flower Farm located in Lantzville, British Columbia.
