Lantzville Flowers grows a few Orange/Rust ball dahlia varieties but Valley Rust Bucket and Cornel Bronze are our workhorse dahlias for cut flowers in bouquets. Honestly, it is challenging to choose which we like better.  Valley Rust Bucket has a brighter, more intense colour than Cornel, but Cornel Bronze's more subtle orange just blends quietly in the mix of other "like-colored" dahlias.  Valley Rust Bucket is a prolific bloomer, producing long, strong stems.  Valley Rust Bucket is a great tuber producer.

Notes:
 
All fall-harvested dahlia tubers are stored safely over winter by Lantzville Flowers and then shipped in late April / Early May. Tubers are also available for pick-up at the Lantzville Flower Farm located in Lantzville, British Columbia.
